getting icons in 'Favorites'

Sometimes when you add a site to Favorites, it gets its own icon. I don't seem to have icons for the majority of my links. Is there anyway to 'update' their icons?

I've wondered that myself. When I add a new favorite it gives the icon then when I add another new favorite the icon goes away and the new one has the icon now. ??????????

for IE: its saved in your cache, and lost whenever you A) clear your cache or B) fill it up and the old stuff is deleted. AFAIK there is no way to keep the icon permanant, unless you copy it elsewhere and paste it in every now and then

It's an IE-only 'feature' (bloat) which enables site-owners to make it possible for you to find the bookmark to their site earlier.

It's just about as useful as the 'auto-add-to-favorites' function of IE.

i had a link to this that aloowed you to make you're own icon for your web site. I forgot where I placed this bookmark, oh well.
