If I buy a single "good" sub, and put all 800W into the single sub, would it sound "about" the same?
How's that working out for ya?

I have tinnitus (ringing in my ears) and bad all around hearing. I was thinking about going and getting it checked out by a hearing doctor, but can they even do anything about it?
I mean, there aren't any "stop the ringing" pills are there?

It depends on the cause of the problem.
When my hearing went messed up, it was due to build up of wax, and once that was cleared, my hearing was fine.
If they find a problem they can (hopefully) put it right, it just depends on the cause of your difficulties.

Sometimes, simply using q-tips can cause that... (pushing it further back)
