Try drinking long islands? if they aren't crazy strong they don't taste bad, and even when they aren't crazy strong they are still strong enough.

Just gotta find a drink you like.

Indeed. What liquors have you tried? Try a good scotch or tequila straight (good meaning drop a little coin on it, the bargain basement shit is just that -- shit). If not, try mixed drinks... I'm fond of margaritas in the summer, personally.

That's a pretty good idea... lots liquor in those and they taste quite good.

also, there are plenty of beers in the 10-20% ABV range. Try some of those out, unless you're girly and only drink watery beers

what about the new energy drinks with liquor in them. Wet Mango for an example.

I haven't tried one yet but one of our Brand Managers at work has them for samples and i might try it.

I live in TN and have heard stories of people going to the Jack Daniels Distillery tour, where they show you the process of making the whiskey. They say it makes you feel a bit tipsy after smelling the cooking of the stuff.

I don't believe it .............. Just curious if anyone else does or has experienced it themselves?

The smell itself when you walk into the sour mash room can make you a little light headed but not really intoxicated.

2 yager bombs and I'm pretty much good for the night.

If you cant take shots of hard liqour straight up why dont you try a mixed drink. Simple ones are like coke and rum, oj and vodka...a mixed drink will usually mask the taste of the liqour.

2 shots of jager and some red bull set you off for a night? wow, must be nice.

yeah, they do this on the tour. County wherein JD is distilled is a dry county. ...go figure. They can't sell whiskey at the distillary, but they make damn sure to take you by the mash for a few "suggested whiffs."

you're getting freshly distilled EtOH vapors (or something like that) injected into your sinuses.

there have been experiments where someone will give a group of people non-alcoholic drinks, tell them that they're alcohol, and the people who drink them will act drunk.

guess you just need someone to lie to you 😉

GBL, which in turn metabolizes into GHB in your body, GHB of course though is hightly illegal. GBL can be illegal under the analog act as well, but there are certain places to buy it online. just take exactly 1.8mL (less than a teaspoon) of GBL and you're drunk as hell.

That would probably be me... I get a little woozy sitting at a table with people drinking wine.

I know this first hand. Call it a Placebo if you will (Pluh-see-bo)
I remember when I was in my early 20's mixing margaritas and girls would actually swerve and sway acting all buzzed when there was actually no booze in the stuff.

A placebo is a preparation which is pharmacologically inert but which may have a medical effect based solely on the power of suggestion, a response known as the placebo effect or placebo response. It may be administered through ingestion, injection, inhalation, insertion into a body cavity, or applied topically.

NUMBNUTS!
