Getting Digital Audio to work with Gigabyte DS3L

I have Gigabyte DS3L mobo with ALC888 onboard audio. I have it connected from the comp to the reciever Onkyo SR606 with a SP-DIF wire. There is signal going through the wire cause when I plug it into the computer the other side lights up red.

The problem I get no audio going to the reciever. In the Realtek Audio manager...the only speakers that I can configure are my computer connected analog speakers. when I click on the wrench for digital audio nothing lights up. Any one have any suggetion on how I can get my digital audio working. Thanks.

Okay actually got the audio to work after reinstalling the drivers. Now the problem is that I only get stereo music. meaning two front speakers. No center speakers or subwoofer or rear speaker working.

Did you look into the Realtek Audio Control Panel? There are settings for 2.0, 5.1 (or 2.1) and 7.1 speakers.
