Getting colored pixilation "snow" on my 5870

Is it a driver issue or is my card defective? ,I'm using the latest catalyst drivers ( 9.11 ). I'm also running this card on default settings too.

afaik, that's usually indicative of bad VRAM. Either that, or high temps.

Yep, that's a common symptom of malfunctioning VRAM.

Try getting it replaced. Most likely bad VRAM.
