Getting banned

This is my second time on the Anandtech forums.
Maybe a year ago I signed up, and after maybe 3 visits I discovered I had been banned, which came as a surprise to me as I had made one maybe two posts.
So, just out of curiosity, who decides on banning ? I'd like to know just what *happened* back then 🙂
 
that would be the Anandtech Moderator(s) they police the boards and Ban material and if severe enough people from the boards, or you could have been using a banned ISP such as NetZero or AOL or a few of the other ones out there, or maybe a banned E-mail address such as hotmail...or could have been somthing you said. just a little FYI for ya.
