I often have to sell things at a loss in FS/FT or any forums, due to fact people dont like to pay shipping. I spend sometimes $5 on packaging materials to ensure that their stuff arrives safely, and they ask me for cheaper shipping.
You set the price, thats what it will be. If its $20, then $10 shipping and $10 packaging and handling.

I allocate it towards the (Handling) portion of my S/H...so technically it's not paypal...I don't come out and state it as paypal, it just says "Bidder agrees to S/H of $20"
People like you on ebay make me sick. 20 fvcking dollars for S/H for a hd??? Were do you live...Mars or something?
( iknow it's a little much, but it also covers my paypal)...
And that is against the rules.
But he is the idiot who bid on it, so he agrees to pay the 20.00 shipping charge.
I sure hope not. You have to figure the box, the wrap, the time to go wait at the fricking post office, etc. As long as it is less than $10 for a small item, it's probably fair.Originally posted by: kevin000
I've always wanted to leave negative feedback when I'm charged $7 for shipping and the postage says $1.33 but I'm not a pr*ck...![]()
TextJeesh, what is your problem, If you don't like his terms DON'T BID.
What he did is NOT AGAINST THE RULES. It is clearly stated as S&H. many people do this.

I most certainly would NOT bid on anything that has 20 dollars shipping and handling that would only cost 5.50 to mail with USPS.

YES IT IS AGAINST THE RULES. He admitted in his post that he charges high S/H to help cover Paypal costs.
That is dishonest.

thanks for all your input, it took a lot of steam off...but listening to some of the things people are saying on here doesn't exactly calm me down. People
FACT:
1) Terms and Conditions: "Bidder agrees to pay $20 for USPS Priority 2-3 Day S/H"
2) AFTER auction, bidders bitch and moans about shipping
3) I offered to let him get off the hook and not follow through with the buying process (while eating the ebay costs ($8)
4) He finally accepted shipping costs
5) Winner received item in 2 days after winning
6) Leaves negative feedback for shipping was too high
Try and justify how this is my fault?
