getting back after time off

I've been out of the loop for 18+ months now, and haven't written a single line of code during that time.

I'm a recent grad, worked for a couple of months at an ibank in IT, and then moved to a more front office role. Recently I decided to go back to IT, coz I like it more, so I got my old job back.

Now I'm concerned that I'm going to be way too rusty, and I feel I've lost my edge.

Any advice, how I should "revise" and back in the groove?

start a personal project. Make it complex enough that you don't get bored with it.

This should get you back in the groove.

I was definitely going to start a personal project 🙂

Any suggestions?

If I was to leave it to myself, I'd probably try and develop an iphone app lol

meal planner.

Make an app that will store recipes and food stock. Give the user the ability to rate recipes. the planner will come up with a grocery list and meal list for the week based on food stocks and recipe ratings.
