There is no special one for the PC right? So I just go and grab a wired one and that's it? do I need special drivers?

That's right. If you buy the wired XBOX 360 controller, you just plug it in a USB port and off you go. Depending on your OS, you might need to download some drivers, but Vista picked up my wireless one instantly...no downloads required.

To be really specific, Microsoft makes a package that has a wireless controller plus the wireless dongle for the PC. But, yes, wired one will work just fine.
