Getting an Inspiron, is now a good time?

I notice that Dell changes deals a lot, but I don't keep up with what is good and when to buy. I am a college student so I would get whatever discounts come along with it. I want to get a fully loaded Inspiron 8200, but I am not sure if I should order now or wait a week or two. I know that it takes them a while to build them, and I want it during the summer, so I am sure I am going to order within the next 2 - 3 weeks. If I order now and a new deal comes along, like say free 60GB upgrade or $100 off, would I be able to apply that to my order?

One last thing, why doesn't Crucial offer 1 DIMM 512 MB DDR for the 8200?
