Getting Album Art for iTunes songs

Through the years of collecting music, I have songs/albums that do not have album art, what is the best way/program to get the album art for the songs?

I've never found anything that's like 100% good. Easiest way is Google Images + manual add (right-click, get info, then go to the Artwork section and drop in the cover you want).

I agree with Kaido, there's too many album titles and same songs in different albums for any software to know what album that track came from. If you have a huge collection, it may take awhile to google and manually add but I did this when i only had like 300+ songs without albums and it took me about an hour, I find amazon to have pretty consistent album art. iTunes doesn't let you drag and drop their album art unless you already have a song from that album so Amazon ftw. Once you finish adding them all, just take a couple of minutes to add the art for any new songs you add that doesn't have the artwork and its not that bad.

fwiw, the only reason i took the time to do it was for coverflow on my iphone. Otherwise, I don't really care.

I want to look at all the Art on my iPhone instead of the Music symbol.

Yup, only reason I do covers is for CoverFlow.

I use this and it has amazon's library integrated and downloads automatically and saves the art to the mp3 and shows up in itunes.

start with iTunes, any covers they have will be awesome quality, if you're ID3 tags are in order you can tell iTunes to search and come back and it will have added for everything it could find. having good tags is important. Then Google images for the rest. iTunes did me right on a good 70% of my collection. Using Google Images I got all but maybe 3 songs of the 1,500 songs on my iPod Touch with covers.

Is there a way to batch inject the iTunes-style album art into the actual files themselves? Or does it have to be done manually?

I've seen some applications that will find the Album Art for you and put all the relevant data (Album, Artist, Year) into the ID3 Tag.
