I am in the same boat. My 2160 works at default voltage at 3.0 but won't budge higher without significantly higher temps and instability. I have tried other memory, with no luck. Even tried using my bro's 8400 and was able to hit 400fsb+ with the 9x multi on that....must be the cpu....

my guess is his mobo, I'm pretty sure these e21x0's all go to at least 3.2 if you have the cooling (air).

I run my e2180 at 1.5075 in bios.

Well, whenever the RAM gets here and I put it in, I'll try and figure out what's stopping me here. If I can't get past 3GHz, I'll save money for an E7200. :)
