Getting a Wii U, maybe

Finally set meine up the other day. Gamepad was much lighter than I'd though. Even with the screen I prefer watchig tv while kids seems to like the pad screen. Range from pad to base sucks ass though. In a 20 foot room you can walk from end to end, but take a step through the door to the next room and it gives you range warning. Like the pad charging base, the tv controls, and that they actually included a hdmi cable (fu ms). Didn't like that my zeda game was a download, heard that the mario ones came in a case like retail and thought this one would too.
 
This may have already been posted, but, I think there may possibly be a $250 Mario Kart 8 Wii U bundle.

I think it's a rumor though. No confirmation.
 
I picked up a Deluxe console Mario Bros bundle brand new off of eBay $243 shipped - it arrived on Friday. I had a ton of fun with it over the weekend. My wife wanted to watch Downton Abbey on our projector last night so I just hit the button on the controller and transferred Wind Waker over to it.

Super Mario U is great (and surprisingly challenging). Wind Waker HD is a spectacular update to a great game. I sold my Wii long before Skyward Sword came out so I went ahead and grabbed it as well. Mario World 3D will be $40 at Target next week so I'm planning to pick it up as well.

Considering how little time I have to play these days, those games are enough to keep me busy for a long time. MK and Smash Brothers are definitely on the list whenever they finally see a release date.
 
Keep looking on craigslist you will find them and probably get one for less than 200 if you want. They aren't the most popular console right now. Except, well for people like me and you that like to have one anyway for a few certain games.
 
Damn just saw Mario Kart 8. My son loves mario kart wii, and 8 looks awesome. I will probably buy it just for this game.

I just dusted off my old wii 2 weeks ago for 3.5 y/o and he has been playing it every chance I let him. I have my costco rewards and chase sapphire rewards burning a whole in my pocket...hehe
 
but it simply might be true, until we have online mario kart we cannot prove our disprove your capability at that game unless your son is already destroying you blindfolded

That's impressive. My 3.5 year old likes to watch me play the Wii U but doesn't have much interest in actually playing it. He'd rather do puzzles, lol.

He only plays racing games. He started awhile ago with them on a old galaxy tab. I guess it's because he watches me play Gran Turismo 6...lol
 
My 3.5 year old neighbor plays skylander. He cannot read but he can definitely navigate the screens and play. It is, interesting.
 
MK is not out yet mate!!!! it's still a while. i have a couple xbox 360s laying around you saying i can trade them in for good value?

Yeah I just reserved a copy. The release date was 5/30 they said. I only got $75 for the xbox arcade. They said the slims are worth more
