Hey guys, just filed electronically, and found out I'm getting back around $950 this year total!!!!! Yay for me. Anywho, this is a LOT of money to me, and I have wanted a widescreen TV for the longest time. With my DirecTV equipment coming in tomorrow, HDTV might be in future
.
With the amount of money I make, I can't build too much on what I'm getting back, so I'm looking to spend no more than $1200.
What I'm looking for:
- HAS to be widescreen
- HAS to be HDTV ready
- somewhere in the 30" to 47" range, really no bigger
- a couple of component inputs would be nice, but I'm pushing it with my price range
That's the basic stuff. I know there are some nice TVs in my price range out there, I just need help looking. Can you guys give any suggestions to some of the nicer widescreens on the lower end of the price spectrum? I am also assuming I will only be able to afford rear projections. Are there any other cheap technologies out there I don't know of?
Thanks for any suggestions, I'm hoping for my return in a couple of weeks. And don't tease me with those LCDs and plasmas!!
