Getting a new motherboard/processor.

I was looking into getting an MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum Motherboard/AMD64 3500+ 939.
Is that choice of motherboard a good one? Any other suggestions?
 
DFI Lanparty Ultra-D, with AMD Athlon 64 3200+ Venice 939. Don't get 3500+, you can EASILY overclock to those speeds even from a 3000+. You can get FX-57 speeds (2.8ghz) from a 3000+ with high end air cooling.

EDIT: Look at what nick1985 got, 2.7GHZ!!! What cooling are you using nick? Stock, xp90?

Its a 3000 winchester with a TT venus heatsink
