Getting a joystick - USB or Parallel Port?

Hmm. The more I think about it, the more I think that I should forget the joystick. I guess I just have to get faster with the mouse. I'm used to playing Half life. You need to be able to move with the mouse fairly well, but nothing like with UT! Thanks everyone.

Yes there are serial gamepads. I only know of one but like cockroaches, where you see one, there are hundreds more hiding in the walls. (AKA I'm sure someone else makes one but I haven't seen another one). My old laptop didn't have a gameport or USB ports to use.
