Getting a dog...I need help naming him!

I'm supposed to pick him up next Tuesday, but I have to come up with a better name than "patches". My parents have a similar dog that they named Cosmo....so I can't use that name, I just want one that's similarly cute. He's a pretty short and cream colored long-hair dog....sorta like benji. About a year old.

We had one for about 12 years and his name was patches! He died a few years ago.
🙁
Nope....some kind of terrier mix... I'm not sure exactly what breed he or my parents' dog is because they're so unique. He's got a great personality though and seems to be pretty cool overall. He definitely needs to be trained though. I'm pretty sure he's housebroken, but I'm going to have to invest in a good dog bed and plenty of chew toys to prevent shoe damage just in case. 😉

Name him Smart so when the wife tells ya to "Get Smart" you can! 😀

Seriously though....hmmm.....Need to know if it's a boy or girl

Boy: I always liked Dryfus (damn you Empty Nest), Hund (German for dog), Atilla

Girl: chienne (French for b!tch, and you could call the dog Chenney for short  ), Salty, etc

I'm not great at naming pets, after all I named my dog by going through a list of characters that appeared on The Simpsons. Just started calling out names until we got to one the bf and I could agree on.
