Getting a Choose XP Pro or Home Startup DOS screen after POST?

DOn't know how to explain this, but i just reloaded XP pro on a laptop, (deleted the whole partition and reformated), and now I get a dos screen just after the post, that has a 30 sec timer that asks if I want to start Winxp Home or Winxp Pro. How do I get rid of this, as it adds 30 secs to the boot, if I am not there to select xp. The wierd thing is that XP home isn't even on the computer, and it fails to start if I try to select it>>??

Any idea?

first select the option which boots the system
then do the following:
run --> msconfig --> BOOT.ini --> Check All Boot Paths

it will show your previous installation wich doesn't exist anymore, remove it.
