I just switch out of cingular.. my god.. every 4 month one of the voice mailbox deletes itself.. and they have to spend 1 hour of my hold time fixing it...

im with verizon now.. get better signal over all.. im in NYC area so YMMV

Cingular has horrible service.. they try to give me 1 month free to stay.. im like wtf.. i can't stand your service, give it up.. if it was good, i'll stay

Ughhh TMobile >>>>>>>>>>>> Cingular.

In CA:

1) Tmobile = Tmobile's own towers + Cingular's old towers
2) Cingular = ATT's network

Anyways, TMobile pays FAR BETTER commission to retailers than Cingular does. Thus, you can get cheaper phones with Tmobile.

RaZr is free EASILY anywhere I go.

And I think you guys need to stop looking at Cingular's phone selection and basically look at the entire GSM phone product line. Phones like the Samsung E730, Sony Ericsson K750i, Nokia N90, etc aren't going to be at Cingular's website. Nor ar ethey gonna be at any OFFICIAL TMobile or Cingular store. Thus, learn to walk into an asian cell phone store like I did and ask for a K750i and bam, get fitted with a kickass phone for a kickass price.

Did you check and see how they are in your area? Unless some of the posters here also live in Washington then most of what you've read here is garbage.

Sprint sucks big time here, but it may not in your area. Be sure you find out before you are stuck in your contract.
