:thumbsdown::roll:

do you realize that when I try to resell it, I will have to put afford to it? she tried to resell it, but she couldn't find a buyer.
English please?
are you retard for digging up that thread? what is the point of that?
I believe the point was to expose you as someone who tends to do unethical things. Worked pretty well.
it is called free rental.
Could you find a link to Walmart's "free rental" policy for me?
anyways, I didn't return the oil filter wrench, because I will need that to do oil change.
The fact that you didn't realize that in the first place is the best proof I've seen so far that you are a very stupid person. You're also an ass. I don't blame you for offering her so little money, because you didn't want the X-Box in the first place. But the filter wrench, that makes you an ass.

we just find making money off your friends/relatives are wrong.

I just realize it was a typo. I am pretty sure you know what I intended to say. english, do you understand it? in case you didn't, I meant EFFORT

there you go
it is 90-days "free rental" policy. that's how I interpret it. what are you trying to say? it is unethical? right, I don't really give a damn to a big corporation like walmart.

realize what? can you elaborate? are you trying to insult me because I didn't know how to do a friiking oil change? I hope you read that post, it was my first time doing it. great, that is a proof I am a very stupid person.

why would I get a xbox from her if I am not going to make money from that? did you read that "I am not a gamer and I don't play console."

what would be the right way to do it? give her $150 for it and keep the xbox to myself? that doesn't sound right to me.

No, it really didn't make any sense. I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume English isn't your first language. If it is, maybe you should consider something else as your first language, because English isn't working out for you.

How do you interpret the part where it says "If an item you ordered from Walmart.com does not meet your expectations?"

You're changing your oil and realize you need a filter wrench. So you go and buy one with the intention of returning it, because of course you'll never use it again, right? Right. Until someone points out that you may need it the NEXT time you change your oil. Then you decide to keep it. That's what makes you a moron - not realizing you'd need it again.

how sad, it is not working for me. I read 99% in english and I write 99.9% in english. for standardized test, I did get 490 for the verbal part on my SAT. I guess I am on par with the national average score for americans that only know english, if I didn't beat them. again, english is not working for me as you are reading.

I can't help it when the people at walmart will let me return something that meet my expectations. what are you going to do about it? being self-righteous and report it to to the walmart HQ? please do.

I guess I would take it if you called me ignorant about this. sorry, english is not working for you. you may want to look up for the definition of "stupid." I really don't think what you called a "stupid" would realize he/she will need the filter wrench again for next time.

I can't believe this has escalated this far.

The person he bought the XBox from is not a close friend. He doesn't want an XBox. She wants to get rid of the XBox to get some spending money. He puts out an offer. She takes it. Would everyone be happy if it was sold for $110?

And $100 is not even that bad of an offer.. Best Buy is selling new ones for $149.99. http://www.bestbuy.com/site/ol...56884&type=product

On top of that, he flat out admits he has no morals concerning purchases and money. Really, the people on this forum are the LAST people who should be pegging anyone on morals. plus 100 for an xbox really isn't bad. A used one from EBGames goes for that much.

My only quirk, DaWhim, if the english that you've been using here does indeed comprise 99% of what you use to communicate, PUT DOWN THE XBOX, PICK UP A PHONICS BOOK and for god's sake learn the language. Seriously, it's not like you're banking on being more fluent in another language. A 490 on the SATs isn't something to be proud of at all. It's below the national average. Coupled with the fact that your diction here is piss poor, and you should be concerned. I'm still waiting for m4h to come in here with his reflexive stop posting nef any second now.

Don't let the haters get you down. I don't see anything wrong with it. The way I see it, among her circle of friends, you were the highest bidder. I think it's pretty crummy on her part to be selling a gift she received on her birthday though.

I agree that there's nothing "wrong" with it, but most people have just said "glad you're not my friend." Lowballing her on the price and then selling it for a profit isn't something friends do, a friend would either show her how to sell it on eBay or elsewhere, or sell it for her and give her the money. Friends go out of their way to help each other, you don't profit at your friend's expense. But it sounds like she's not much of a friend, so his main mistake was calling her a friend in the first place.

Selling a gift is pretty crummy though. I'd rather have someone tell me they didn't like a gift I bought so I could exchange it and get something they'd rather have. Whoever bought the X-Box paid $150 so DaWhim's friend could have $100 in cash, DaWhim could make about $30 and lose the respect of a lot of people, and some kid they don't know could save $20 on an X-Box.

I for one won't judge harshly on this one. My own friend that skis is spending $700 for new skis alone, which probably exceeds my recreational budget for the whole last year, hehe. Then again, if it were me, I'd be buying it for my own enjoyment.

she is not a close friend. that's it. we only talk about tests and grades.

I don't want to question who give her the gift. there are going to be reasons that she wants to sell it.
