gettin sound from laptop to car stereo

i know the old school method of having a connector that connects to a tape deck through the headphone jack, but the quality is horrible on that and my car doesnt have a tape deck

are there newer methods to gettin good quality sound from your laptop to your car speakers?

i know on ipods, they have this thingy called the itrip, which is a fm transmitter that transmits a fm signal to an empy fm station that you have to search for yourself. it is wireless and the quality is good depending on how good the empty station you found is. is there something similar for notebooks that you can plug into the usb port or something?

any ideas?

If your deck doesn't have an auxilary input, then something like the iTrip should work fine. Plug it into the headphone port on the laptop.
