Does anyone know if you can recover part of a downloaded file from GetRight? It saves the downloaded files with a .getright extention, and until you complete the download you have no access to the file. I have downloaded part of an .avi file, and I would like to be able to view the part I've already downloaded while I'm waiting to download the rest. You can't just rename it with a .avi extention. Any clues? Thanks.
 
I have renamed many files with getright and it worked fine. Now I am certain that DIVX encoded AVI's (like that used to encode dvds into AVI format) will not work unless you have the film in it's entirity. Unless of course you download some special programs...
