Geting my TI4600 tomorrow.. $130

Tomorrow is gonna be great.... gonna pick up my GF4 TI4600 from Best Buy for a whopping $130...How you ask???? I went to Best Buy yesterday and walked straight to the customer service desk... i spoke to a sales manager and told him that i saw a hand written shelf tag for 129.99, and then busted out my saved html order... he said no problem and hand wrote me a raincheck for 129.99, and said i could come pick up the card for that price....

Also, i wonder how high this baby could OC... anyone know??

Just because the retail price for the TI4600 is way too high doesnt mean you should go cheat other
people out of their money. Especially a wonderful store like Best Buy, LOL. Tisk tisk

oh come on guys... they are the stupid ones... they clearly had a handwritten shelf tag with the TI4600 right on it for 129.99... i then asked the head computer guy about it and he proceded to rip up the shelf tag because he knew that they messed up big time.. i am now on there most wanted list though i am sure.. even all the employes know that i work across the street @ Staples.. i do feel sorry for the 2000+ people that ordered the card and now it looks like i am the only one that acuatly is gonna get the card for 129.99...

saved html folder? how is that going to prove there was a shelf tag for $130? do u mean the BB online price error from a few weeks back? if so... good for u. that manager must be an idiot if he didn't hear about the pricing error. i'm sure BB corperate must've informed all stores about via an email or something.

of course i did... 129.99... i am using it right now and its so awesome.. i can get like a 9500 in 3dmark... thats a huge jump from 6000 before.. see my rigs for my specs.. the only thing that sucks is that visontek did not include the vivo cable and cd, now i have to go onto there website and wait 3 weeks for them to send it to me.. whatever though.. great card, EXCELLENT price.

Yeah I was a little irritated about the cables thing myself when I got my card today. Even mroe annoying was when I went to the site and it asked for the serial number so being the lazy mofo I am I just shined a light into my case with the power on and read the damn number upside-down :)

But otherwise yeah I'm real happy with the card. One thing I have heard though is that we Visiontek owners do get one little thing the PNY people don't at least...all the GF4/3 tech demos on the install cd.

Nice job with the price though...I love manipulating stores like that

Please post your 3DMark2001 SE comparison link as proof of that score (and of you owning that card).

If you can post that link then please post a scanned copy (not touched up by Photoshop) of the reciept.
