Because many think they are better than others and are the "chosen ones". It's really a bunch of BS drilled into them by power hungry morons.

I am a Christian but I don't go to church, I don't put my beliefs on others, and I can't stand any that try.

Let people live their own life, believe in whatever God you want, and be good to others.

Agreed on living your own life, but a real Christian should want to go to Church.

I had a guy come to my door a couple of weeks ago asking for donations to his organization. I told him I was not interested in donating at the time and to have a good afternoon. He then asks me for my address. "So we know not to stop by here in the future." Whiskey Tango "You're standing on my front porch, you obviously know the address, just don't come by again." I figure they want to send me stuff in the mail.
