Thanks for the post. I did the $150 eTrade deal last year, which worked out fine -- it's time for another $$$ back checking account.

The good thing about this deal is the lower initial deposit than ipod deal.

The bad thing is that you have to wait at least 14 months to get your second $100. You get ipod in at most 5 months after your first deposit, then you don't have to worry about it anymore.

I have a credit card with CitiCard already. Will this mess me up for either this or the Ipod promotions?

Ok I just called citibank regarding the iPod Mini deal. Initial deposit of $2500. Min balance of $1500 spread over a checking/savings account. Debit card (Mastercard.) Online bill payment of any amount for next statement, so 4 payments must be made. After the next statement, you receive your iPod Mini within 90 days. So he said by around May I should get it. I have $2500 to free up, would get .75% interest (ING Direct's 2.4 sounds better, but whatever) I think this seems fine, as I currently have direct deposit anyway. What do you guys think? He'll call me in an hour.

Thanks,
Kishan

You also have to keep the $1500 in for a year if I remember correctly.

Are you sure? I believe he said you only need direct deposit in order for the deal to work.
