Not once have I claimed to be upset about the cat. The post above was my only post in this thread, and it doesn't even have the word cat in it. In fact, my opinion on the matter resides closer to yours than most of the others in this thread.

The point of my post was to point out that although you love to try to diminish your opponent and his argument by claiming you follow the 'intellectual' path, your actual arguments are just a mirror image of the ones made by everyone else in the thread, filled with logical fallacies galore.

I am happy that we were able to resolve this situation but if people gave 1/2 a crap about defending the dignity of humanity, the rest of the world wouldn't live in such poverty. Actually that is about as flawed an argument as assuming those that believe in evolution do not believe in God.

Many that are truly active with animals, also give quite a bit of time and money to human causes. Doubt it's a true 50/50 split, but those two efforts aren't all anyone is usually working on.

I helped with this cause recently, I am donating some money...tomorrow I am bringing in about 5 old cell phones for March of Dimes as well has have sponsored one of the women in the office doing a walk for it.

What aggravates me more than anything is someone making statements that another should give more when they themselves give nothing.
