I've been wondering how Avengers supplanted X-Men as the primary group over at Marvel in the ~2 decades since I was reading them....but looking at that picture and doing some wiking, I have discovered that they have just been taking a bunch of X-Men and tossing them into the Avengers at various times.

:hmm:

I don't know about in the past, but I am guessing Marvel/Disney is doing everything they can to push Avengers since they own the film rights. more money for them. Fox owns the X-men rights.

Meh...Marvel (or should I say Disney) is just trying to attract young girl readers. (and geeky guys who are infatuated with cartoon tits)

are they one of the "factions" of Secret war?

would be great/hilarious if they got wrecked by Ultimate Reed and the cabal. :)

Are you saying that fascination with Rogue's gigantic melons and Jean Grey's ample funbags, at the age of 14, was anything less than literary stimulation?

JLU had an all women battle royale episode with no male characters, and it kicked ass. I'm not sure gender matters so much in comics or comic movies. I thought the best things in Man of Steel was seeing Faora kick ass.

yeah, women have been kicking ass for a while in the comics.

assuming she isn't dead for some reason, Jean Grey is still, technically, possibly, the most powerful thingy in the Marvel Universe...depending on her mood, I guess.
