I just hope it's nothing more than viral marketing, I wouldn't want a Mortal Kombat movie, or even a MK game to end up like that.
 
I wish they would just retire these old games and come up with some new fresh ideas instead. Money talks though, and people are suckers for rehashed crap from their childhood..
