Get Outside Once in a While

Now that's a hot deal.....

Thanks OP, for this informative and not your mundane "OMG CC, CUSA, BB has xyz monitor for $10 less this week"

This is nice! I don't necessarily need these but you can never have enough fishing gear. These will most likely collect dust and keep all the rest of the fishing/outdoor/golf clubs/misc stuff sitting in my garage company as they sit unused for 364 days of the year! But hey, they will be there when I need em.

From the photo, can anyone confirm that these are all just the "rubber worm" variety of crank baits as opposed to anything more substantial? If so, these will deteriorate after a season of typical garage storage. Regardless, still a very good deal.

"rubber worm" = yes
Nowdays just called "soft plastics" because there is more than just worms availible, as you can see in the picture.

crank baits = no. These are hard plastic and have hooks attached.

Nothing wrong with buying this just to "have some". With many thousands of different types and brands of soft baits manufactured and sold, these are likely the ones that are slow sellers, and BPS bundles them and sells them as a varity pack.

If you sit on the bank, and "throw the bait out and wait", these arent for you, nightcrawlers are better, as far as worms go. If you want to fish, (or learn how to fish), with soft baits, go for it, once you lose your share of less expensive soft baits, you can buy just single packages of the type and color that seem to work good for you, after you try different ones from this variety pack. Berkley Power Worms and their other SB's with fish attractant work much better, but at $3.99 for a package of 10 or so, you get more for your $10 here.

Another real value here is the reported free shipping on other items added to the cart. Look around, see if there's a book on "fishing soft plastics". Lots to learn, to be "catching" fish with these SB's, instead of just "fishing" with them.

EDIT: Wont deteriate at room temps. Heat and or time will allow any scent added to the soft plastic to lessen over time. These in a garage for a year will be fine. They will, when new or not, melt hard plastic boxes that are not "worm proof", if they come in contact more than a hour or so. This also includes any plastic bobbers, etc, that these worms touch when in your tackle box. Makes a sticky mess. Put the SB's in a zip-lock bag, then in the tackle box, if you arent sure.

I totally want in on this, but I had a couple of questions:

1) Is there a way to download this directly, so I don't have to wait and I don't have to pay shipping?

2) I assume this is fully compatible with Trophy Bass 2007? I don't want to buy it only to find I can't load these lures because they will only work with Trophy Bass 2006.

Yee Haw! Gonna do some couch fishing tonight!

Got Mine today. It is a good deal, especially since I am now having to stock my son's tackle box as well. Plus the tin is a can with a Bass Pro sticker on it. Great deal, fast shipping, and no hassle.
