Pretty cool. Sprint went from being one of the worst customer service cellular company to one of the best in the last 6 months. Meanwhile T-Mobile went the other direction. Seems like Sprint and T-Mobile switched spots.
What phone/carrier is everyone planning on going with? My two year contract with Sprint is due up in June of next year (launch day OG Evo sign-up), but if something compelling is going to be out in the next month I might consider it. Especially now that the Nexus Prime doesn't look to have that rumored 720p screen.

Hung up, called back, he's refusing to waive the cancellation fee saying that the fee was listed in the welcome letter. Currently trying to challenge him to send me the letter or my signed contract that said that the fee was there.
Look at the slickdeals thread and ask for escalations or a supervisor. Or ask if they have a legal department.
Or call executive support. Some people have suggested that. Executive support can do whatever they want.
Talking to another guy right now. This guy is an idiot. Im reading straight from the terms and conditions he's telling me to look at and hes adding his own words in.
Update:
Wow fucking idiot. Right after I schooled him with Sprint's own legal terminology "The Administrative Charge is not a tax and is not an amount we are required to collect from you by law.", "in response to a materially adverse change that we make to the Agreement as described directly below.", "In addition, the Sprint consumer Terms (Ts&Cs) are changing."
He told me I was right but he still couldnt waive my ETF.
Looks like Sprint's legal department sent out a memo telling reps to indicate that users signed in their T&C that the Admin fee can be changed up to $1.99 without being considered a material change, and thusly you can't get out without an ETF. A lot of people are telling Sprint to point out where it says so, but they can't/don't (just like what happened to you Azn) yet aren't waiving the ETF.
Looks like I might be in for a hard fight. I was going to call Thursday, but my phone was nearly dead.
EDIT: Hrm, they're probably right on this one. Seems like the admin notice is on the welcome letter, or the activation email from what I've seen. I haven't checked my personal contract since it was through a special business reseller, but it might be uber hard to get it canceled now without an ETF.

It's looking like the Prime may have that full HD screen afterall. It's also supposed to get here in October or November, according to Schmidt yesterday. Hopefully we'll get some solid information on it in the next 28 days or so, since at this point I'm thinking it's the only phone I would give up my OG Evo and unlimited data on Sprint early for.
T-Mobile has a $49.99 promo now for first 2 lines (each) so $99.98 for 2 lines unlimited minutes, messaging, and data* (2GB full speed, after that u get throttled down). Then $15/line for lines 3-5 that includes 500min each and unlimited messaging and data (same 2GB full speed then throttle down after that). If my math is right thats pretty cheap for the 5 lines I need:
$99.98 (first 2 lines)
$45 ($15x3 for lines 3-5)
= $144.98 + tax/fees etc.
That's pretty cheap for 5 lines with data + messaging. Only con I think of this plan is obvious 2yr and I don't think this plan offers subsidized prices for new phones (gotta pay full retail or go to eBay/Craigs). Seriously debating this move.
Where re you getting this info? I've been keeping an eye on engadget and BGR but I havent seen anything new about the prime in a while

I am on the phone arguing the changes to the arbitration section because they kept shooting me down on the Admin fee.
I got the big NO but I did get an Airrave no charge which solved my problems.
I read about that but is there any link to the specifics of the changes? I couldnt find them.
I told one of the reps last night that I was talking to, to call me back today because she offered me $50 credit for me to stay with Sprint. I told her to call me back and Ill think about it. I might push for a free month and an Airrave. It wont really solve my problems as Im on the road more than anything, but whatever, its better than nothing.
