How do they know how much you spent on the games? Don't they just send you in a $25 check?

if u REALLY want a copy. go BEFORE the store opens and wait in LINE!

im SURE that there will be ppl outside to get these games.

And alot of times the stores may only have 1 or 2 copies LEFT.

So dont go complaining and asking for rainchecks if they dont have it in stock.

Is Pharoah any good? I'm thinking of just getting Half Life and waiting on a $7 rebate check. I have too many useless games already.

Hmm, maybe its better just to spend $5 and order online. Might even get lucky and the rebate people could count shipping as part of the cost:)

Just got back from Comp in Arlington they had lots left of all three SC, HL, and Pharoah. Picked up 3 copies of HL for me and my buddies. Thanks for the heads up.

Hehehehe thats the life of software... Its true with almost all good games, and some bad 30-40 when its out and hot, and 2 years later you can get it for 10.

Mustanggt - If you also have a CD burner then the next time you do a clean install of Windows 98 and download all the HL updates why not burn those onto a CD-R? Hopefully you also have broadband (cable/DSL) and the updates don't exceed 650MB. That way next time pop in your HL CD to install then pop in your CD-R to load the updates.
