Question Get-FileHash benchmark with Powershell

Good rule of thumb is to do benchmark until result stabilizes and then average 3-4 results.
That's usually not too long, in this case only the first result is out of the standard deviation 🙂
 
It's crazy for someone like me who used to mess with config.sys and autoexec.bat files in MSDOS to try to reclaim as much memory as possible from 640K conventional memory and now roughly 30 years later, Windows is loading a frickin' 5.4GB file entirely into available RAM and caching it!

Now I have to wonder how long it will take to get to 256TB RAM as a reasonable base configuration! Maybe another 30 years?
 
Yeah some mouse drivers were put in high memory and some memmakers were ran here too 😀

But yeah that's the reason I don't understand people complaining about ram usage of things. We have gazillions of bits available, I want my OS and my browsers to cache as many things as possible, not have unused 28GB out of my 32 😀
