I really want one of those... but I haven't brought msyelf around to buying one, because I enjoy my logitetch low-profile (think laptop) keyboard. But damn I want a clicky.

The M i use at home was built in April of 1987 😱. When I'm at school, I use a M5 (built in trackball - dont actually use that too often though).

The M I have was built in 1984 and it is in perfect condition.

I will never part with it, best keyboard ever made.

Best keyboard I've used yet is a MS Digital Media Pro. Ergonomic, quiet, functional, and provides plenty of type-feel. Model Ms are for fogies.

the dell quietkey keyboard from like 1997 and later years...WITHOUT multimedia buttons or that crap. a nice, clean, grey keyboard. VERY quiet too IMO.

even though my bluetooth keyboard is plugged in, i have to use my dell quietkey as well, cause my comp doesnt/cant support bluetooth in safe mode and the BIOS. thats a drawback of getting a bluetooth keyboard and mouse...meh.

clicky FTW, you people are really missing out. I have a Keytronic Lifetime series, model: LT Designer that I use in addition to my MS Natural Keybaord Pro.

That's very smart. I'd love an 84, a keyboard as old as me would pwn 😉

Agreed. I have 20 of the MF'ers sitting on the shelf here (but I'm using a Dell USB keyboard at the moment, because desk space is at a premium right now)

<3 my '84.

I love my Dell keyboard. It has some multi-function buttons that I don't use, but mostly I love the noise level, and the hardiness of it. It also has proven to be fairly shiny-free. You know that thing you get when you have used a keyboard or mouse for a while, you rub off the texturing of the plastic and it is all smooth and shiny. I have been using this keyboard for about 5-6 years now, and the keys are all still in pretty good condiiotn, and all the letters are still quite visible.

Dell Keyboards FTW

Whoops, I guess it was copyrighted in 84, mine was made in 90 😱

Still the best fvcking keyboard ever.

I'm using an old Dell QuietKey. When this one does (if it ever does, haha) I'm going to go find myself one of those really old insanely-loud-tactile-feedback keyboards. 😀

That's where I got mine. '94 lexmark made new in box for only 15 bucks.
