It's a display model at Staples and is marked down to $750. With tax it'll come to 810.
I know this model was new in June. I really like the size. I could just get the $600 Acer 5050 at Wal-Mart ($650 with tax) but the difference isn't really that big in price.. one is big, the other is nice. Specs are decent on both for what I want.
Or I can get a Toshiba Satellite A105-S2194 at Wal-Mart for $700 counting tax. I figure the satellites are all the same size, right? Wal-Barf is the only store with cheap electronics. Don't laugh at me. 🙁
The staples toshiba is a little bit more compact than the walmart toshiba.
I'd rather buy something in cash locally than mess around online.
Which do you guys think I should get? I want something comfortable for in-car use.
