<< avhokie, thanks for the support >>

auyong, you must have read wrong, because I wasn't supporting you at any point...

VH2000, why do you stoop so low as to comment on a 'class-less' person's posts? I'm flattered, because you made yourself the same class as I am. 😀🙂😕:Q😎😛🙁:frown:

I'm not even going to bother and figure out what you're hinting at, especially since I'm certain it's something ridiculous, VH2000... or, maybe even stupid... especially since you couldn't even address the comments I made earlier like a normal, competent human being.

STOP making personal attacks. It's people like you that make this forum a drag to even read sometimes. Please, grow up.

I DO NOT have any of these racing programs ordered, so I'm being completely objective on this issue. The point is, you people are getting a little too defensive over this whole situation. Like I said before, Dale's family probably EXPECTED something like this because, afterall, he was a racing celebrity. This is the reality of things. Furthermore, it is no one's place HERE to tell others what his family thinks or believes is right or wrong because I'm pretty sure all of you flaming others and calling people "immoral" don't really know.

This is a hot deals forum and the fact of the matter is, the people that are selling these programs are not doing anything wrong, illegal, or out of the ordinary. Selling something at a high price that you can get at a cheaper rate is pretty much a hot deal. If YOU choose not to make money under the circumstances, that is fine... don't do it, no one is making you.

However, I wonder about those of you that seem to feel it is your place to tell others what is morally right and morally wrong. Please, for those of you feeling that you have such a right, find ways of establishing your existence and prominence other than going on the hot deals forum dictating moral correctness to the rest of us. Thank you.

Afroking22 - WTF Dude?
I was just noting that you had IMO flamed auyong.
Jeez! I wasn't trying to start this all over again!

My apologies then, VH2000. But to set things straight, I wasn't flaming anyone.

I'm just really tired of coming on here, seeing people dictate others "what is right" and "what to do." Leave that for the mods, that's what they're here for. Any other attempt to do so is, pretty much, picking a fight.

And... that's just sad.

hehehe...u don't even know what you read! At no point did I see Afroking flaming me. His posts have always been partial and logical. Anyways, it was an eye opener seeing just what kind of fans Earnhardt had, makes me feel less sympathy for his death.

Afroking22 - Not trying to pick any fights - just a clash of opinions!

Peace!

RIP#3

As for auyong - you just don't know when to quit!
I glad YOU'RE not a fan! That makes me feel much better!!

Gentlemen,
WWJD?

sorry, had to do that.
I'm just glad that I was able to give you goofballs something to argue about. Keep it up. A couple more posts and this Earnhardt thread will overtake Jokersmoker's Earnhardt thread.

VH2000...is that 'high-class' English you're using? I can't seem to understand what you're saying. Anyways, I've better things to do than to argue with some 'high-class' Earnhardt fan. Have fun mourning him.

I see it as a matter of respect. I may want this item for my own collection. But selling for mega profit just bacause he died just seems rude to me. Just like how someone is trying to sell pieces of the wreckage this is a sign of lack of repsect for the dead, lack of respect for the family, and lack of respect for human life. Fine if all you see is "the bottom dollar", but having the nerve to call people "sick" for actually caring, is appalling.

I forgot who first questioned the "morals police" by saying theres nothing wrong with reselling the Programs on egay, I know I made a comment earlier...some agreed and some didnt

What I did say was "sick" was the people here, who THINK they are so morally righteous, that they feel it is their DUTY to email egay bidders and try to convince them NOT to purchase the programs from the egay sellers!!! (which is against egay rules, but apparently that is "morally ok" to these folks)

Quite a few of us here on the forums, when we spot a hot deal, will pick up a small quantity of an item, maybe keep one for ourselves and resell the extras. This helps pay our bills, make ends meet, and is capitalism at its finest...

I FLAT OUT SAY ITS SICK for any poster here to do something so SICK as to email egay bidders to try to persuade them not to bid. Thats hurting ALL of us...if this forum becomes populated with people who email egay bidders everytime theres ahot deal and tell them "PSST, just go to www.xxxx.com, you can get this item cheaper!!!!" That will DEVASTATE this forum...because NO ONE WILL POST ANY DEALS if these so-called "morals police" are patroling....

NO ONE is telling the egay bidders to bid, they are coming to the site on their own. No ONE should tell them not to bid! There are LOTS of reasons to buy at egay (even at a higher price)...Maybe the egay bidders dont want to deal with the hassle of placing an order w/this company (which is out of stock anyway), maybe they want to pay via paypal or money order, and dont like giving their credit card info to a number of sites..etc.

On Egay you get the item you win, which is better than receiving the all-to-often "sorry, out of stock" messages from online retailers (especially with an item of this type)....and many would rather support an egay auctioneer than the SPEEDWAY promotional items retailer, whose track design led to Dale's death....the reasons are many...

The "moral" of the story: Theres NOTHING wrong or immoral about those who bought a quantity of these to resell, and theres also NOTHING wrong with NOT WANTING to do this...this is America and its wonderful that we can all freely express our opinions...but keep in mind this forum is dedicated to deals, not the morals behind them...MANY deals on here take advantage of questionable moral issues, such as misprices, etc.

However, when members here are going so far as to EMAIL EGAY BIDDERS and tell them not to bid, that is plain wrong and sick...it hurts all of us here, as less deals will be posted due to the fear these "morals police" are lurking....Believe in yourself, and dont try to cram your moral beliefs down someone elses throat...

That is cool that you stick up for yourself and your beliefs. Always good to have some confilicts in life. Keeps us on our toes...

Has anyone received their order for these programs? I ordered 2 of them and have yet to have a response to the emails I send them. I tried calling them up, but I can't get a hold of anyone.

I called their customer service number at (800) 922-9040 (be nice!) and was told my order would take 6-8 weeks, even though my email order confirmation says 7-10 days. CSR said they've had many orders and are making more and won't run out, even though their site doesn't seem to have any in stock. I'm considering cancelling my order.

Spec411-

Just as no one is forcing them to buy off of Eb@y, no one is forcing them to not bid there, either. Either way, it's still ultimately up to the individual to do as he pleases. I would much rather be a well-informed individual, and would be grateful to someone for notifying me of a lower price somewhere.

biggPoppa, how did you reach a CSR? What part of the phone menu did you go to? I tried the same phone number, but I could never get anyone (and this was during their normal business hours). I tried to see if I could place an order and ask them about my order, but it just says to leave a message or fax.
