Get 4 32meg compact flash cards for around $15 fater all is said and done!

ieee...

This has been posted 2-3 times, and has been out of stock for a while.

Also, be careful::: The rebate form states Limit 1 rebate per address. So buying two 2-packs in the same order/same name might get one of your rebates denied.

Would these work on my iPaq 3635? I'm trying to look up info on CompactFlash Type I and Type II compatibility, but can't find anything. Also, even if they were compatible, would they need drivers or something? If anyone has info, thanks, otherwise I'll reseach on my own. Great deal, btw. This would be great for sharing pictures and crap with friends.

Here's the Xact Nstruction off of the rebate form:

1. Purchase a SimpleTech 32MB CompactFlash 2-pack (Model STI-CF/32x2) Between 10/21/01 and 12/31/01 at Amazon.com only.
2. Complete a copy of this rebate form and mail along with the original UPC from the product purchased, and a copy of the receipt indicating the product purchased.
3. Mail to:
Dept. 31574
$10 CF/32x2 Rebate
P.O.Box 52900
Phoenix, AZ 85072

Here's the fine print:

Requests must be postmarked by January 15, 2002. Limit one rebate per address. Requests from groups, post office boxes or organizations will not be honored. Fraudulent submission of multiple requests could result in federal prosecution under the U.S. Mail Fraud Statutes (18 USC, Section 1341 and 1342). Void whre prohibited, taxed or restriced by law. Please allow 6-8 weeks for processing. If you do not receive your rebate within 6-8 weeks, please visit www.rebatesstatus.com

I guess if the ppl @ SimpleTech are stupid enuf...or maybe just don't care...then they could go for a receipt that had two purchases on it...but I'm not sure that would werk...even if U did mail it from two diff. addresses...the dealio is WICKED hot the way it is...w/ the $5 off coupon...

I hope that we can all be nice and share if/when these come back in stock... 😀

Just about any compactflash memory card would work in the IPAQ - no drivers required.

Tanner...

I did a quick search here but couldn't find the reference.

Try an Advanced Search for "CF" then review threads older than 1-2 weeks. If I recall, 2-3 of the bigger threads mention a review/review site(s).

Good luck.

I already received mine, it was delivered yesterday by USPS which I thought was kind of weird... at least that is what the tracking says. Anyway, these have been out of stock since I ordered on the 21st and watch the limit one per address on the rebate.
