ok to do and cancel after you get the gift cards. i was with citibank for years, and their service is totally unacceptable from the witches who answer the phone to their refusal to help in a dispute. it was through mastercard, NEVER get a matercard, they'll burn you every chance they get.

i purchased software from a company named softscan that was a major bargain if you downloaded it. there was a 30 day trial period.

after a week, i decided to get a refund. a rep told me that i had to remove it from my hard disc, and guided me through a process that they could somehow know if i did it or not. then they wouldn't give me my money back. it went on for 6 months and mastercard said no. so i lost my money, and i didn't have the software.

again, the service is terrible, but if you hate yourself, it's a great place to be abused.
