The normal offer for this card is a $50 bonus after the first purchase, so this is a pretty good deal. Note that if you redeem your cash back rewards from this card in $200 increments, you get a 25% bonus ($250 instead of $200). So your initial $100 bonus effectively becomes $125.

Would this card be good to keep after the $100? I noticed the 3% rebate at qualified gas stations, grocery stores and quick service restaurants and 1% on everything else. I'm not getting anything much better from my Citi Dividend Platinum. Too bad this Chase has a maximum bonus rebate on the 2% bonus rebate of $12 monthly ($600 in net purchases). Although, there is no maximum number of base rebates earned on net purchases earning a 1% rebate.
