Damn.. I bought my chair too early and did the PM too late. I got both of my chairs on 9-1 (first day of the sale) at a OD B&M. I had 14 days for an in-store PM, but I'm on my 16th day. If I would've known about this Sunday or bought my chair a day or two later, I would've been fine. Oh well.. You can't win them all. $10 + tax for these chairs is still awesome though.

Just wondering.... are you guys satisfied with this chair? Personally, I don't like it that much, because the seat isn't stable, it feels like the seat could break from pole any time. Do you guys also notice that, or is it a bad job assembling it on my part?

I agree with jimmy, what do you expect for around $10? You're getting a decent (fake) leather office chair for $10 you can't beat that!

I thought it was $15-$10 or $10-$10? So it's really "What do you expect from a chair that cost you $5 or $0?"

I missed out because they don't deliver here and I don't have a car(stupid idiots NEED a street address, I live on a campus without them. Great.)

The final price varies depending on if you ordered online or at B&M and which price you were charged.

Mine was at OD B&M $69.99 (no PM) - $20 off $50 printable coupon - $30 MIR - $20 price adjustment = FREE LEATHER OFFICE CHAIR

:D

I went to the B&M today and spent about a minute getting back $10+tax in cash. Total price after tax: $2.31. Now that's bang for your buck:)

bolla - I think you can still get this chair for

$49.99 chair + $0.28 rubber bands - $15 off $50 coupon - $30 rebate = around $5.27 final cost

Sorry but you'll have to search for the OfficeDepot $15 off $50 coupon yourself.

Hi,

I bought my chair from a local store. I have already mailed my mailin rebate along with reciept.

I have called online number for pricematch. They told me to goto your local store and show the ads and reciept. I donot have reciept as I have mailed it.

What shall I show when I goto store? Do they accept photocopy of reciept? Any ideas?

Thanks

I still have both receipts from when I bought the chair at the B&M. I went in on 06-Sept-02 to get my first Pricematch so hopefully they will count that as two weeks from that date:)
I'm gonna go after work and post feedback here tonight.

Why not call and ask them if they'll accept a photocopy of the receipt? When I showed them my original receipt they marked something on it and gave it right back to me.

Call and ask them, if they say yes make sure to write down their name, the date and time.

I'm bringing the original receipt that was written on and also a photocopy of the second receipt after the first pricematch. Funny how I just came back from mailing out my rebate form this morning.

I went in to OD today, I bought my chair at a store on 9/7, I used the $20 off $50 coupon. The manager wouldn't let me price match it. Its within the 14 days of a lower price. But he said that since it came with a $30 mail in rebate he wouldn't do it. I hadn't sent in my rebate yet I had the form with me, he said I could either give you the $20 instant rebate or I you can send in your rebate. I also told them that people were callign in and getting their credit to the CC and that I had called the 1888-GO-DEPOT number and they said to go in and get the difference since I bought it at a store. Still not bad for $23, but I plan on going in again when that isn't working and trying it again

Hi RossMAN!

I looked into the OD website, The $30 rebate coupon is valid till 09/15/02.

Do you any other $30 rebate coupon I could use.

I need it so bad at this price! Even $5.27 final cost sounds cool to me.

Thanks,
Bolla

Ok, it isnt all "fake". The chair is leather and it also has a vinyl back. It feels super sturdy, maybe you F'ed it up. but the cushion sucks. I've had it for 2 weeks now and the thing has started to flatten. Im not a fat ass like some poeople here (Visula12 ;-), but yea

No problem at the Chula Vista store. Here is the breakdown:
Chair 69.99 -
coupon -20.00 off of 50-
PM -10
PM again -10
MIR -30
= You make .01 before tax.

Just got an email saying my rebate had been qualified. That means a cost of tax only for this. I have a barely restrainable urge to holler out the window "I got a chay-air and you don't have one and mine was free-ee!" Everyone else is grateful that I am not giving in to that particular urge. :D

You mean you don't do that on every hot deal?

For instance "I got a Domino's buy 1 get 1 free pizza for FREE because it's Tuesday!!!!!!!!"

Nah - actually I say "I got a large Domino's ham pizza for $4.99 because it's Wednesday!!!!!" (And I say that every Wednesday right after we get out of the $.50 movie - saw Reign of Fire yesterday).

Okay - here goes - "I'm really chee-eep and I don't cay-air cause I save lots and I don't invest in Enron!"

No go at the Troy, MI OD. The manager, Brian, said that since I used a coupon, he would not price-match the sale price :|
