I think this deserve a new thread...

office depot has the same chair (#442441) on sale in their B&M for 49.99. So if you bought within two weeks, go back and ask for a price match. It saves your another $10!

What if I had purchased it online, does anyone think that I could still pricematch?

The website still shows a price of 69.99, but you can still do this pricematch even if you don't get Office Depot ads delivered to your homes with the newspaper. Just go to any OD store and pick up an ad by the front door.

It is two weeks at B&M.

Good -I purchased at B&M but one day too late for the 7-day online policy. Did anyone who tried at B&M get any grief because they had used a coupon to purchase?

1) Will it work since we used the 20 off 50 coupon?

2) It should be $20 if you(like me) didn't bother with what was said to be a hassle to pricematch officemax.com

Wow - I got $10 back in less than a minute - when I called the CSR knew about the deal - he didnt ask me anything - just asked for my order number and got a $10 credit. This makes the deal even sweeter.. :p

Worked for me. My credit card was credited $21.65 (I had bought it for $69.99 - 20 coupon).

The cashier gave me crap about the coupon, but the managers always let me do whatever I want. Go Office Depot.

LongCoolMother - No, all you will need is the order number. I would have the complete packing slip handy, as well as pull-up the OD online order information when you call. They're going to ask you to verify personal information tied to the account, not credit card information. I've done pricematch reuqests like this via cellphone while running between hot-deals. You could also file the pricematch request via Office Depot's website (unless they've removed this function recently - I haven't done an online internet pricematch request in a while and didn't log-on to check).

Just got back from OD B&M and my chair is FREE after I receive the $30 MIR.

Bought my chair at OD B&M on Saturday 9/7 for $69.99 - $20 off $50 printable coupon = $49.99 charged to my cc. The OD.com price for the chair was $69.99 so I didn't have to price match because the .com and B&M prices were the same.

So today I visited OD B&M with my receipt and cc in hand. First I went to grab an OD flyer from a pile at one of the cash registers. Then I walked over to customer service and stood in line for a minute. At first the lady thought I wasn't entitled to a $20 difference because the price I paid was $69.99 - $20 coupon = $49.99 the same price as shown in the flyer. We went back and forth for about 5 minutes until I asked to speak with the manager, just as she was about to fetch the manager she asked if the $20 coupon was specifically for that chair? I said no it was a general $20 off $50 anything in the store not just the chair, so then we apologized to each other for the misunderstanding and she was able to help me. First she had to void the previous transaction then ring it up again showing the $49.99 - $20 coupon = $29.99 There was a problem though since the coupon was $20 off $50 and my total was only $49.99 so I grabbed a nearby pen which was $0.44 What was really bizarre is that she handed me a $20 refund in cash rather than crediting my cc back but I didn't argue. Just as I was about to leave I thanked her profusely but was concerned about the rebate. She said the original receipt and rebate form should still be valid just make sure to send in ALL the UPC's.

So $69.99 original B&M price - $20 price adjustment - $20 coupon - $30 MIR = FREE chair

If you bought your chair at OD B&M I would strongly advise bringing your original OD receipt (not a copy), if you paid for it with a cc bring that cc and grab a copy of an OD flyer when you enter the store. Make sure to specify to the customer service rep that the $20 off $50 coupon you used was NOT SPECIFICALLY for the chair, otherwise be prepared.

Good luck and thanks for the FREE leather office chair.
