I pee on my hand for sterilization purposes, and then I make sure to rub them on the door knob to help the next guy out.

Seriously speaking though... the whole hyper-cleanliness thing is kinda unnerving to me.

Im not too bad yet. My new thing is using paper towels in public restrooms to open the door on my way out. Its usually a swift motion, dry hands>open door> toss towels.

In my office, you have to go thru three doors to get from restroom to work area. I'm all for using paper towels, but this dimwit was bringing them in the work area with her and stopping in MY cube to dispose of them - she'd do it right in front of me, even when I deliberately put myself between her and the trashcan.

Needless to say, I moved to a different cube.

Dude...have you seen the kinds of stuff toddlers put their hands on?

I brush off all dead skin cells in the morning and walk through a UV filter. Then I put on my bleach washed clothes and gloves and carry on like a normal human being. I only eat food I've packed and sterilized, so it's pretty easy not to catch germs.

i used to get sick about 4 times a year

while I can't back this up with any sort of scientific proof, I have one of those purell things next to my sink/computer/one in my bag when I eat on campus...haven't gotten sick in 2 yrs

Probably doesn't have much to do with it, but ::shrug:: only thing I've changed that comes to mind.

I'll wash my hands eventually after shaking hands with people and I just don't touch my face in the meantime. No big deal; I learned to stop touching my face a long time ago.

At trade shows and film markets, I'm spending anywhere from three to ten days shaking dozens of people's hands per hour; the odds of any one person having a cold or flu might be small, but make that hundreds of people from all over the world and the odds are pretty high that some of them are coming down with something.

I'm going to play poker tonight at a local bar. If I have to use the bathroom - and I will, 'cause I'm female - I'll be hitting the shower first thing when I get home.

Do you know what those toilets spew up every time you flush? Eeewwwww.

Yeah, that's true, it's just something about babies that gross me out. Maybe it's because there's always liquid coming out of them from somewhere...
