[*]Bottle of Purell at my desk
[*]Bottle of Purell in my car
[*]If I absolutely have to go #2 in a public restroom, I dispose of the first 3 layers of tp. (it's been exposed to the air!)
[*]I've waited nearly 5 minutes for someone else to open a bathroom door so I could leave because there was no paper towels inside.
[*]after shaking hands with strangers, I immediately wash my hands (or purell)

Wow, I thought I was a germaphobe, but you're a freak

I wash my hands when they're dirty, but not after I touch ANYTHING.

I work at a hospital and think I'm getting more and more germaphobic.

I wash and Purell like a mad man and all but refuse to go # 2.

i have my anti-bac hand sanitizer at my desk and my lysol disinfectant spray at hand too.
i will not eat the ends of any finger foods (fries, sandwiches, etc) out at a restraunt.
i am very close to bringing my own silverware to places too but i think my husband would put me in an instution.
i have more, i cannot think of any though

Ok, that's just retarded.

Especially considering you were probably somewhere near your desk or car and thus could have just gone and used Purell!

I don't care much about germs, although I am obsessive about it when it comes to cooking.

Just as for disposables! i need to invent an edible purell so you could get it in wipe form and wipe down the utensils where ever you eat.

Nice, so you kill 99.99% of germs so that the strongest .01% can reproduce without crowding. Not to mention that when you kill bacteria you leave a wide open path for new, and likely more destructive, bacteria to take it's place.

Here's a recent article on antibiotic use.

don't worry, my gf shares many of the same fears.

Those types of behaviors tend to get stronger as you get older. It will not be too long before you are taking showers after picking up things the other person has touched.

At other people's homes I usually look for packaged disposable tableware before I use their china.

I don't like to touch babies. Toddlers are okay though.

I don't like babies near my food.

I don't like animals near my food.

If, in someone else's home, my drink has left my sight for more than 5 minutes, I'll get another one, or stop drinking (unless it's a closed or relatively closed container). Unless I absolutely know for a fact that no living creature (bigger than microscopic) has been near it.

I know, some of those are pretty bad :(. I'm not a cold and unaffectionate person though, I'm very nice and pleasant! But some things just ruin it for me. It's just a mental thing.

Bathrooms don't bother me much.

Now that's just disgusting. It should only be a *5* second rule, you barbarian. :p

Im not too bad yet. My new thing is using paper towels in public restrooms to open the door on my way out. Its usually a swift motion, dry hands>open door> toss towels. I started doing this after I saw some doot on the door handle of a local food joint.

Always makes me thing of George Carlin

" whats with all these people washing there hands after the goto the bathroom. You know when I wash my hands ? when I sh!t on them."

I wash my hands regularly, using soap and water. I sing 'Twinkle Twinkle Little Star' in my head to let me know how long to keep scrubbing my hands for.

Lysol spray for the KB and mouse, weekly at work and monthly at home.

Travel packs of hand wipes for using in the car after I've gone out to eat. Also some in my desk at work.

Nothing too compulsive that it seriously affects my life. Other than the above, I'm just careful about touching my face/head when I haven't washed my hands recently.
