well, all my paperwork is in, and my hookups at Mercedes tell me things are lookin' good. what's going on you ask? I've applied for an apprenticeship at a Mercedes shop in Germany by Stuttgart. its 3.5 years of learning to deal with the horde of computers that is the modern Merc. as well, i discovered that if i move back, i'm allowed to import a vehicle from over there, no matter the age or brand. 😀 so come four years from now, i hope to be owning an R-34, 993, or similiar kickass machine. so yeah, ciao, canada!

also, i'm definitely going for a few laps on the Nurburgring😀 16 euros a lap (20k)

i don't care if you don't care, i'm pumped!

Nice. I lived in Berlin for three years and want to move back. I love Germany, though I will be honest that Stuttgart is not my favorite city. But luckily you can jump on a train and go to some very nice places, both in and outside of Germany.

I work for the German government and tend to be well aware of what's going on there, so feel free to PM me if you have any questions.

Good luck!

"Mechatroniker" or as best as i can translate, MechaTechnician for passenger vehicles. GT, thanks for the offer, i haven't been back in Germany since 2003, when i was visiting family....i still need to make my dutch passport a German one though...i'm a dutch citizen, Landed Canadian Immigrant, and born in Germany 😛
