I am doing some german homework, adn I was wondering what the words for BIOS and RAM were in german. Der/Die/Das and etc.

actually BIOS and RAM are acronyms. So you'd have to translate Basic Input Output System and Random Access Memory.

das bios and das ram.

could also be "der speicher" , for "the memory"

mostly....but "der rechner" for computer is quite common... ("rechner" meaning calculator)

But I'm guessing that's more slang? Anyhow, I think if he doesn't know stuff like this, he's more than likely in a lower-level class, so why does it matter? :p
