My German exchange student is still going to come tommorrow to the U.S. (Olympia) even though we have just experienced an earthquake. Certain areas of our school (Capital) are redtagged and many roads, and a bridge are inaccessible. He probably won't be able to visit the Capitol or the Space Needle. I'm wondering if you were in the same situation (plane tickets and arrangements already paid for), would you still come even though there was an earthquake a few days before?

Better believe it. It's probably a once in a lifetime experience to do something like that. Besides, the earthquake just happened, it'll be another couple years before another one. Aftershocks have probably died down by now, so this is the safest time!
