Gephardt inches ahead in Iowa

Those crazy Iowa primaries.

I'm not sure why Iowa digs Gephardt - they handed him this state in his last Presidential run...but he's never pulled it out. Are they ever going to learn? Do they not understand that Gephardt has NO chance nation wide?

Actually the most suprising thing I found was that Kerry had 15% - which I though was a little high. I don't see much support for him around here. But then again I'm not in the "elite" circles

Well, Gephardt has no shot with winning the Democratic bid nationwide, but he could hurt Dean in winning Iowa. WIth Dean gaining a lot of the union support, this will hopefully go back to his favor. Maybe it had something to do with his rebel flag remark. I understand what he meant, but the way he said it was just plain stupid.
