I think trayvon's criminal history, pictures he posted of himself with guns and jeantel's testimony are how I came to associate him as a thug. I thought that baby picture of trayvon the media blasted everywhere was grossly inaccurate.

Lot of racism and homophobia in that article/conversation. Yet GZ is/was the only raciest portrayed in the media from what i remember.

For a guy, I think it's odd to come to the conclusion someone following you is going to rape you. Granted it can happen, it's just not something i can say has crossed my mind when i've been followed. Usually i'm concerned about being robbed. But everyone comes to their own conclusions and opinions.

If he really felt this way, why didn't he call the cops, at least before he went back out once he got home? Why go out at all? But as has been said, both were stupid.

Is it really stalking though? It seems more like following a suspect? Do store owners following around suspected shoplifts ever get charged with stalking?

If i follow someone down the street, is it stalking? Doesn't/shouldn't it require more than one occasion of following?

No one here ever got in a fight when they were teenagers?

Trayvon wasn't out to rob anyone or casing the place. He was just a kid who was spending time in his dad's neighborhood and who was lost on his way home from the convenience store.

Zimmerman is an overly eager wanna-be hero who fucked up royally and still hasn't shown any remorse for his actions.

If Trayvon could plausibly have been connected to the burglaries which had troubled the area, yeah, he got what he had coming, but he objectively was not in the least connected to them.

Except Trayvon was a LARGE person. He wasn't the size of a little teenager. I'm 35 and he was wayyyy bigger than I am. If you have some large dude you don't know bashing your head into concrete, it's a far cry from teenagers fighting after school.

Yea someone my size might be fine fighting in a ring/octagon or even in a bar fight with patrons and witnesses to break it up if it goes south.. that's one thing.

I wrestled for 20ish years and at a high level. I did martial arts for a tad longer. I have enough confidence i am sure can hold my own.

Though i am also smart enough to know that even with my experiance odds are I still going to be on the losing end and the smart thing to do is avoid a fight in the first place.
