Wow. I intern for a state senator here in Florida in his campaign office. Today, I was inputting in cheques into the Division of Elections database when I came across this gem from Kraft Foods Global, INC. Since it is a matter public record, I can show the company name. I've blocked out all important information such as dates, numbers, address, etc. (this is the internet and I don't know who will see it, eventually)
George P. Burdell signed a campaign contribution cheque.
I was floored! I laughed and my supervisor looked at me and asked what's up. I told her about the Georgia Tech thing and showed her the wiki page and she said "yeah, but isn't wikipedia so like anyone could edit it?" I said "yeah, true" and moved on. I just HAD to photocopy it, though. Wow, lol, I never knew a company did this.
When the campaign contribution becomes officially entered into the database after the deadline of 4/10/06, I'll post the "to" address, if anyone wants it. This is just too funny, though!
EDIT: For those who don't prowl the inet, here's the wiki entry about "George P. Burdell"
