George Foreman Grills Anygood?

I love how it catches all the grease so you can pour it back on to the food. Man, I'd hate to see that evaporate or burn to the pan...jk

Tried that trick. Didn't help. Maybe it works for the small ones, but not for the big ones, or at least not for me. It's a royal pain to clean no matter how you look at it. I can clean my frying pan in under a minute and it will turn out cleaner than 10 minutes spent on the GF grill.

I also agree that it renders chicken almost uneatable on the outside. Wait, no, not almost. Still, I am looking forward to one with removable plates and adjustable temperature. Apparently other brands make one of those for fairly cheap.
 
Thats weird that you guys arent able to cook chicken on it. Mine comes out perfect- juicy, tasty, and full cooked. Better that I can make it on the grill, even. leave it in there for about 5 minutes with the clip latched and take it out just before its fully cooked. By the time it cools enough to eat, it's perfect.

As for cleaning, the trick i've found is to use the plastic scraper thing to scrape all the stuff off, preferably soon after youre done cooking. Takes me about a minute. Do it over the sink or you'll have stuff all over the counter. Then I wipe down the whole thing with a wet paper towel and it's ready to go. The first few times i tried to actually wipe off the gunk on there and it took FOREVER. You have to scrape first. The paper towel at the end is simply to pick up the remaining residue. Usually takes two swipes.
