Great like Stalin. Everyone will henceforth be afraid to say that he sucked, and there will probably be lots of statues and things like roads, buildings, maybe a city (Dubyagrad?) named after him. Leaders that give the government and nongovernmental elites significant increases in power are often remembered fondly by that same government in the form of monuments and namesakes. Eventually, the populace forgets the negative elements and only remember the statues. Ceasar, Napoleon, Stalin, Mao... beaitified by the states to whom they brought expansion in state power. Does not bode well for our country's future impression of Nepotism McCowboyhat.
you have a right to say every word of that, because we are in a America.
but i also have a right to say comparing Bush to Ceasar, Napoleon, Stalin, and Mao Tse Tung is purely idiotic.
you sir, are an idiot.

You complain about this thread becoming political then you keep coming back... wow you have alot to do today huh?

what's it to you?

Yep... it's nice to have some rights, but don't delude yourself into thinking that we have the most in this country anymore. I'm not saying that America is crap, but if you do nothing but praise it you're not being an objectivist at all. Our founding fathers begged us to watch our government closely and keep it in check, it was the people's duty to protect the integrity of this country. If you don't "trust but verify" in the words of Regan/Gorbechev, but instead wave the flag and implicitly trust Shortbus McPollutionhappy, then you're checking out of the responsibility that the great men who concieved of your "rights" entrusted you with.

It would be a great dam-it doll. Every time you get pissed off, take the doll, hit the wall saying dam-it, dam-it, dam-it. He might even start singing bomb bomb bomb, bomb bomb Iran.

I think everyone is a little too worked up over this. I think it is a great idea having action figure dolls after the presidents. Think of it as a great marketing opportunity. You can introduce a certain number every year in a limited release. People with the "collect a set" mentality will line up and even pre-order.

I think the next models should also be upgraded to repeat recorded memorable phrases from that president's term. The next action figure should definitely be for Bill Clinton. Rather than a pilot's outfit, he would be wearing a business suit complete with an open zipper and appropriate stains on the pants. Press the talking button and hear him say: " I never had sex with that woman."; "It depends upon how you define the word 'is'." and "I had inappropriate relations...". And then the doll would bite his lower lip.

Yeah...a real marketing opportunity.

Right, we're the trolls. If you notice I never used slander (you called me an idiot) and I made some pretty reasonable points which no one bothered to deconstruct or argue against. Even if you didn't appreciate the arguements, you have to admit, Nepotism McCowboyhat is pretty damn funny.

Furthermore, I reserve the right to make political comments on a political deal. If political discussion is to be banished from the Hot Deals forum, political deals must also be banished.
